World Games: A Note from Andrew

Korea 2013 - Mascot

Personally, it was a life changing experience to join Special Olympics as it changed my attitude toward those with intellectual disabilities in a good way. Even though I was exhausted by working 16 hours a day, just to see the happiness we all brought to the athletes and their families took my tiredness away!

I would really like to thank Holly for helping me get involved with the right activities that enabled me to learn the real meaning of Special Olympics. I learned a lot this trip and hopefully can be more helpful next time.

I especially thank Lisa and David for giving me the opportunity to join the Brightspot team at the Special Olympics World Games.
