Meredith Rodkey is VP of Platform Product Management & Solutions at Brightspot. She has focused on product management for nearly 10 years, contributing to major Brightspot engagements from U.S. News & World Report to Arizent and Healthgrades. In her previous life, Meredith worked as a homepage editor and writer for AOL.com, curating a daily experience for millions of users.
Rose Pleskow has been working at Brightspot since 2011 as a content and quality assurance specialist. In addition to writing employee profiles, Rose has played a critical role on a variety of client projects with her keen eye for detail and Brightspot publishing expertise. She has contributed to the launch of various projects ranging from SpecialOlympics.org to Amazon Science and Healthgrades.
Leslie Hughes is a freelance writer with over 10 years of experience in crafting content about the latest trends in technology, marketing, health/wellness, travel and more. When she’s not at her laptop writing, she is traveling around the world exploring other countries and cultures. Leslie calls Venice Beach, California, her home.
As Brightspot’s CSO, David is responsible for our DevOps, Security, IT and Customer Support functions as well as playing advisory roles in both the Gyro product line and Brightspot’s federal offerings. David has been the CIO since October of 2018.
Edward Murray is a freelance journalist and business content writer. He has more than 20 years of experience writing for a broad selection of publications. These include specialist trade publications as well as regional and national newspapers. He also writes for a wide variety of clients, ranging from start-ups to multi-national corporations producing white papers, opinion pieces, online content and event and webinar summaries. He is based in the UK and writes for clients worldwide.
Anne is a writer for Brightspot. She specializes in translating business-to-business technology insights into digestible, actionable takeaways for readers. She has expertise across a variety of vertical markets and content types, having spent 10+ years in the PR and communications agency world. She's based in Minneapolis, Minnesota—and yes, she loves to talk about the weather.
Alistair Wearmouth is a content director with Brightspot, where he helps craft content-marketing material about the company, our customers and the technology behind our award-winning CMS. He also supports various customer accounts with their content strategy and publishing needs. With over two decades of experience in digital content and product management, Alistair has helped lead implementation and development for homegrown as well as off-the-shelf CMS solutions at companies including USA Today, Orbitz and National Geographic.
Miles brings expert front end development and management expertise gained from his 20+ years of leading web dev teams, including design and development, monetization, and tactical operations. Prior to Brightspot, Miles was a development lead at AOL, a contributing member of the W3C who helped the HTML Working Group define what would become the HTML5 recommendations, and led AOL News' effort to implement and help define the rNews microformat which would later become today's standard for NewsArticle schema.
Hillary Schoelzel is the Manager of Product Marketing at Brightspot. Prior to Brightspot, Hillary worked in the entertainment industry and has more than eight years of experience crafting narratives to help brands tell their stories. She earned her MBA from the University of Southern California and has an undergraduate degree in English from Vanderbilt University.
Mark is Director, Digital Content at Brightspot. When he's not gleaning insights from various developers from the company, he spends his time cooking new dishes at home with his wife and two hyperactive cats.
Amelia Bragg is a recent graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Marketing and Management. Amelia has been assisting the Brightspot product team, diving deeper into digital asset management, while helping build over 20 brightspot websites for clients.
Parker Ramsdell has been leading Brightspot's mission-related projects since July 2013. Drawing on a unique background in education, politics, and non-profits, Parker is dedicated to fulfilling Brightspot's mission to give back to the community through a variety of projects with local, national, and global organizations. Parker will be blogging about Brightspot's continued partnerships with Special Olympics, The First Tee, Troops First Foundation, YMCA of Greater Washington, and others.
