Coca-Cola's 2013/2014 Sustainability Report was recognized as the winner of the Best Report category. The report, which Brightspot helped bring to life through through IA, visual design and production, and content strategy, provided a rich and engaging experience for readers that linked the print version with digital content hosted on the company's corporate website, Coca-Cola Journey.
The 2013/2014 Sustainability Report marked a significant departure from traditional corporate reports. Brightspot worked with Coca-Cola to re-imagine sustainability reporting to showcase the full spectrum of Coca-Cola's progress against its goals. The project included knitting together the snapshot-in-time annual report with the real-time updates on a new digital Sustainability hub on Journey. By cross-linking Journey and the Sustainability Report, Coca-Cola was able to engage a new, digital audience to its progress reporting. Citing the frequency of updates in the first six weeks after the report's launch, PR Daily called the Sustainability hub, "a living portal to content about Coca-Cola's commitment to sustainability."
Following 2013’s award from PR Daily for Best Website Launch, this recognition once again highlights the outstanding partnership between Coca-Cola and Brightspot.
