Configuring profile pages
This topic describes how to configure profile pages.
To configure profile pages:
- Click > Admin > Sites & Settings.
- In the Sites widget, select the site for which you want to configure profile pages, or select Global to configure profile pages for all sites.

Authentication Settings
. - From Authentication Settings, select Set:.
Configure a private profile page that users can use to modify their settings:
- Under User Private Profile Page, click .
Under Create, click New User Private Profile Page.
New user private profile form- In the Title field, enter a name for the profile page.
- From the Section selection field, select a section in which this page appears.
- Toward the right of the widget, select > Overrides.
- Under Layout, design a private profile form. For details, see Creating a custom form.
- Click Publish.
- Click Back to Select Authentication Settings → User Private Profile Page. You return to the content picker.
- Select the private profile page you created.
Create a public profile page that users can use to view other users’ settings:
- Under User Public Profile Page, click .
Under Create, click New User Public Profile Page.
User public profile form- In the Internal Name field, enter a name for the profile page.
- From the Content list, select one or more modules to include in the profile page.
- From the Path list, select one of the formats Brightspot uses to create a unique URL to each user’s profile page. For example, if you select User ID Path Strategy, visitors can view a user’s public profile at the URL
http://www.mydomain.com/user/123rt3321
. - From the Section selection field, select a section in which this page appears.
- Toward the right of the widget, select > Overrides.
- Under Layout, design a public profile form.
- Click Publish.
- Click Back to Select Authentication Settings → User Public Profile Page.
- Select the public profile page you created.
- Click Save.
