Media


A media module is a module that contains an audio, video, or image. This topic provides detailed instructions on how to create a media module that you can use on your site.

To create a media module:

  1. In the content edit page, open or create the asset to which you want to add a media module.
  2. Toward the right of the widget, click more_horiz > Overrides.
  3. Expand Layout Overrides. Drop-down lists Above, Aside, and Below appear for the module’s position. For an illustration of these positions, see the diagram in Modules.
  4. From one of the drop-down lists, select Replace. For an explanation of the possible selections for module placement, see Setting the site layout.
  5. Click add_circle_outline and select Media.
  6. Under Type, open the selection list and do one of the following:
    • Select Image (selected by default).
      • Under Image, click search to select a shared image to be displayed in the media module, or create a new one.
    • Select Audio.
      1. Under Audio, click search to select a shared audio, or create a new one.
      2. Under Image, click search to select a shared image to be displayed in the media module, or create a new one.
    • Select Video.
      • Under Video, click search to select a shared video, or create a new one.
  7. Under Title, enter a title for the media module.
  8. Under Description, enter a description for the media module.
  9. Complete your site's workflow and publish the module.
