How Special Olympics’ leverages the power of branded microsites to tell its story
Parker Ramsdell | VP, People, Mission & Culture, Brightspot
Special Olympics is a global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability.
After a decade of partnership on various initiatives, Special Olympics selected Brightspot in 2018 to empower its communications and fundraising teams. With Brightspot, the organization’s digital transformation has streamlined a network of disparate digital properties onto one single platform.
Along with the various tools to help grow site traffic and reach the broadest possible audience, Special Olympics has been empowered to launch a series of microsites on the same platform. These microsites have improved discoverability for uniquely branded experiences on topics such as:
- Eunice Kennedy Shriver, the Special Olympics movement’s founder
- A sponsored content section with WWE
- Youth & Schools
- Health resources
Join this webinar to learn about how Special Olympics has leveraged the power of dedicated microsites to tell its story, plus what it means to collaborate effectively—not just in terms of content publishing, but also as citizens of the global community.
