How to Schedule Publish in Brightspot

With this feature, editors and reporters no longer need to manually push content live at a specific time. Instead, schedule publishing gives you the ability to select the exact date and time a piece of content will be published to your website. Brightspot also supports bulk scheduling, which enables you to publish multiple pieces of content together.

The above demo walks you through the workflow of scheduling an article to publish at a specific time in the future. Instead of needing to manually push something live, an editor in Brightspot can simply click on the schedule icon and select the exact date and time he’d like the content to go live. Once the content is actually scheduled, the editor as well as the rest of the newsroom can see that it’s scheduled by viewing the “Scheduled Events” dashboard widget.

But what if, for example, you had a dozen pieces of content that you wanted to go live at some specific date and time in the future? Fortunately, Brightspot offers a bulk scheduling feature that allows you to tackle that with just a few clicks.
