Applying type-specific overrides
This how-to guide explains how to apply type-specific overrides.
- Click > Admin > Sites & Settings.
- In the Sites widget, click site to which you want to apply a type-specific override.

. - Under Type Specific Landing Page Content, click .
- From the Types list, select content types to which you want to apply a type-specific override.
- From the Content list, select one of the following:
- Inherit—Inherits the content from the parent level in the content hierarchy. Skip to step 9.
- Add After—Inherits the content from the parent level and adds a new module under them.
- Add Before—Inherits the content from the parent level and adds a new module above them.
- Replace—Replaces the content inherited from the parent level.
- Click , and select the module you want to use. You return to the Type Specific Landing Page Elements widget.
- Configure the module as necessary.
- Under Type Specific Overrides, click .
- From the Types list, select content types to which you want to apply a type-specific override.
- Expand Logos & Icons Overrides.
From the Logo and News Publisher Logo lists, select one of the following:
- Inherit—Inherits the logo from the parent level in the content hierarchy.
- None—Applies logo from the parent level in the content hierarchy.
- Select—Displays a content picker for selecting an existing logo.
- Expand Layout Overrides.
From the Hat, Navigation, and Footer fields, select one of the following
- Inherit—Inherits the logo from the parent level in the content hierarchy.
- None—Applies item from the parent level in the content hierarchy.
- Select—Displays a content picker for selecting an existing item.
From the Above, Aside, and Below fields, select one of the following
- Add After—Inherits the above, aside, or below layout block’s modules from the parent level and adds a new module under them.
- Add Before—Inherits the above, aside, or below layout block’s modules from the parent level and adds a new module above them.
- None—Removes any modules in the above, aside, or below layout block that may be inherited from the parent level.
- Replace—Replaces the above, aside, or below layout block’s modules inherited from the parent level.
- Click Save.
