Mike Fulkerson joined Brightspot in 2023 as the Chief Technology and Information Officer. In this role, he leads the product engineering, security, information technology, and infrastructure teams.
Mike is a multiple CTO and brings more than 20 years of experience working in technology, including leadership positions at CoStar Group, Capital One, Capital One Labs, Snagajob, ILOG (now part of IBM), and, for a majority of his career, at Rosetta Stone. He was part of the leadership team that brought Rosetta Stone public in their very successful IPO.
Mike has multiple degrees in computer science; he received his bachelors and masters degrees from Villanova University and his doctorate from Duke University — where he won his department's annual Outstanding Dissertation award. He started his career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy.
