Enjoy the benefit of browsing and importing directly from external sources like Getty or Youtube with an integrated search feature that reduces extra clicks and makes the image upload and management process as fast as possible.
[Speaker 1] If you’ve ever had to source images from a stock provider and upload them to use on your website, you know how time consuming it is.
The task typically consists of logging into your account, searching, purchasing and downloading the image, all before you are able to upload to your CMS for use.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to streamline this process?
Brightspot search includes an external or integrated search that allows a user to search for and import content, like images from other sources, all from within your CMS..
For example, within search, you can filter by Getty Images and do a search for “circle”. Results from Getty’s vast library are surfaced within your CMS search. You also get a preview of the metadata for that image, and if you’re happy with the image, you can choose to import it.
This import step purchases the image and makes it available to other authorized users of your CMS and gives you the ability to reuse the image as many times as you want.
There are four categories of integrated search -- Getty is an example of a photography integration, Brightspot also supports video, file storage (like Dropbox) and wildcard, which includes integrating with another DAM or Digital Asset Management system.
In addition, these integrations can support syncing between systems, ensuring that you have the most up to date version of your content!
Integrated search gives you the benefit of browsing and importing directly from other sources, with fewer clicks since it’s all done inside the comfort of your CMS, making the image upload and management process as fast as possible.
