Built-in integrations

Google Drive

You can import Google Drive files into Brightspot. This integration is helpful for editors who want to import their Google Drive Files into the same context they use to publish content. Brightspot supports the import of the following Google Drive files:

  • Google Doc—Can be imported into Brightspot as an article, a blog post, a document, or as a general digital attachment.
  • Google Sheet—Can be imported into Brightspot as sections, tags, users, or as a general digital attachment.

Once imported, Brightspot checks the source file to detect any changes made after the import. If changes are made, Brightspot indicates this in the Sync widget of a content type created as a result of the import. (For details, see Re-syncing a Google Drive file.) If no changes are detected, Brightspot reports that the source file and the Brightspot content type are in sync.
