Creating API credentials in Adobe Stock
This topic explains how to create API credentials in Adobe Stock. You add those credentials to Brightspot, after which editors can browse for images in your Adobe Stock account.

Tip
The configuration in this topic is often done in parallel with the associated configuration in Brightspot. Consider performing this procedure along with the one described in Configuring the Adobe Stock integration.
To create API credentials in Adobe Stock:
- Log on to your Adobe developer console.
- In the banner, click Projects.
- Click Create new project, or click an existing project.
- Click Add to project > Add API.
- In the list of available products, click Adobe Stock.
- Click Next.
- In the OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization widget, select Web App.
- Click Next.
- In the OAuth 2.0 Web App widget, do the following:
- In the Default redirect URI field, enter the URL that editors use to log in to Brightspot (such as
https://brightspot.com/cms
). - In the Redirect URI pattern field, enter the URL that editors use to log in to Brightspot with backslashes before the periods (such as
https://brightspot\.com/cms
).
TipBrightspot's New Adobe Stock API Client widget displays the values you can copy/paste into the Default redirect URI and Redirect URI pattern fields, as in the following illustration. - In the Default redirect URI field, enter the URL that editors use to log in to Brightspot (such as
- Click Next.
- Review the available scopes for the API credentials.
- Click Save configured API.
- Under Connected credentials, in the OAuth Web App widget, copy the API key into a text editor. (In the procedure Configuring the Adobe Stock integration you paste the API key into the Adobe Stock configuration in Brightspot.)
