Brightspot Integrations Guide

Creating API credentials in Shutterstock

This topic explains how to create API credentials in Shutterstock. You add those credentials to Brightspot, after which editors can browse for images in your Shutterstock account.

Note
The following procedure describes an activity in a third-party application. While Brightspot periodically validates this procedure, individual steps may change in the interim without our knowledge. If you notice an inaccuracy, please leave feedback using the widget at the bottom of this topic.
Tip
The configuration in this topic is often done in parallel with the associated configuration in Brightspot. Consider performing this procedure along with the one described in Configuring the Shutterstock integration.

To create API credentials in Shutterstock:

  1. Log on to your Shutterstock account.
  2. In the left rail, click Account, then click Developers.
  3. Scroll down and click Create new app.
