Brightspot Content Types Guide

Newsletter

A newsletter is an email delivered to your subscribers that provides important announcements. Newsletters are most actionable when your organization has an email service provider through which to send the newsletter and measure its impact. Brightspot offers integrations with email service providers like Mailchimp and Sailthru, allowing you to create and manage newsletter campaigns within the same context you use to create the newsletter itself. If an integration is enabled, then publishing a newsletter will display additional widgets you can use to create and manage campaigns.

For details on these integrations, see Mailchimp and Sailthru.

To create a newsletter:

  1. In the header, click add.
  2. From the Create list, select Newsletter.
  3. Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
  4. Complete your site's workflow and publish the newsletter.
