Person

A person is somebody at your organization that you want to promote on your site. Examples of a person include a member of your leadership team, a member of the board of directors, or a stellar employee.

Tip

If necessary, create and upload images you will use in the person. For details, see Image.

To create a person:

In the header, click add.
From the Create list, select Person.
Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
Complete your site's workflow and publish the person.

Field	Description
Name	Person's full name. This name is visible to the visitors to your site.
First Name	Person's first name. This name is not visible to the visitors to your site. Instead, it is used internally in the CMS for ordering (For example, this field allows you to search for persons by first name).
Last Name	Person's last name. This name is not visible to the visitors to your site. Instead, it is used internally in the CMS for ordering (For example, this field allows you to search for persons by last name).
Image	Person's image, typically a head shot. This image is visible to the visitors to your site.
Title	Enter a title. This title is visible to the visitors to your site.
Affiliation	Organization with which the person is affiliated. This name is not visible to the visitors to your site.
Email	Person's email. The email is not visible to the visitors to your site.
Short Biography	Enter a short biography. When the person appears in a list, this text is visible to the visitors to your site. (Defaults to Full Biography.)
Full Biography	Text that appears in the person's bio. This text is visible to the visitors to your site.
Slug	This field, by default, is auto-populated by a Title, Name, Display Name, or Headline field, and becomes part of the asset's URL. Auto-populated slugs are lowercase, have diacritics removed, and any symbols or spaces are replaced with `-`. You can modify the URL Slug field if necessary.

Field	Description
Title	Text appearing in the asset's `<title>` tag. Brightspot automatically populates this field from data on the Main tab, and you can override this as needed by entering a new title.
Suppress SEO Display Name	If toggled on, your site's name will not appear in the `<title>` tag and subsequently in search results.
Description	Text appearing in the asset's `<meta name="description">` tag. Brightspot automatically populates this field from data on the Main tab, and you can override this as needed by entering a new description.
Robots	Text appearing in the item’s `<meta name="robots">` tag. For an explanation of the available options, see Robots Meta Directives.
AMP Disabled	Toggle on to disable generation of an AMP version of this asset. For details, see AMP.
