Many assets, such as articles, blog posts, or press releases, are associated with an author. You create authors from the Author content type, and then associate the author with other assets.

Creating an author

To create an author:

  1. In the header, click add.
  2. From the Create list, select Author. A content edit page appears.
  3. Enter text for Name.
  4. Enter additional text for the fields as specified.
  5. Select Shared or One-Off Image under Image, and upload an image (often the author's head shot).
  6. Using the rich-text editor, enter biographical information for Short Biography and Full Biography. For an explanation about using the rich-text editor to write a description, see Rich-text editor.
  7. Complete your site’s workflow and publish the author.
