Bulk edit assets

This topic explains how to edit assets in bulk in Brightspot.

To bulk edit multiple assets:

1. In the search panel, do one of the following:
   
   • Search for and filter the assets you want to edit.

   • Click more_horiz, and select the collection from which you want to edit assets.

     

2. Select the assets you want to edit. Ensure the assets are the same content type.

3. Click more_horiz > Bulk > Bulk Edit.

   

4. For each field, do one of the following:
   
   • Select Keep to retain the field’s current value for all selected assets. For example, if you select Keep for the Internal Name field, then all Internal Name fields remain unchanged.
   • Select Replace to update the field’s value for all selected assets. For example, if you select Replace for the Internal Name field, then all Internal Name fields adopt the new value that you enter.
   • Select Clear to remove the field's current value for all selected assets. For example, if you select Clear for the Internal Name field, then the values of all Internal Name fields are removed.
   • Select Add to add a new or existing module to all selected assets. For example, if you select Add for the Content field, and select an existing list module, then the list module is added to all Content fields across all the assets you selected.
5. Click Bulk Save.
