Customizing a site layout


This topic explains how to customize a site's layout.

  1. Open the site, section, or asset for which you want to customize layout.

    Use
    Tab Name
    Global level
    menu> Admin > Sites > Sites widget > Global.
    Front-End
    Site level
    menu> Admin > Sites > Sites widget > (Site name).
    Front-End
    Section level
    Open the section in the content edit form.
    Overrides
    Content-type level within a site
    1. menu > Admin > Sites > Sites widget > (Site name) > Front-End.
    2. Under Type Specific Overrides, clickadd_circle_outline.
    3. From the Types list, select the content types to which this module applies.

    Asset level
    Open the asset in the content edit form.

  2. Expand Layout or Layout Overrides.
  3. Configure the layout component, such as header footer.
  4. Click Save (for site-level layouts) or complete your site’s workflow (for section- and item-level layouts).
