Terms
With the Terms integration, you can display a spotlight when visitors search for specific terms. For example, if you have an article about the top headless CMS, you can associate search terms "cms," "headless cms," and "graphql" with the article. When visitors search on those terms, Brightspot displays a spotlighted promo for the headless cms article.
When visitors search for a term on your site, Brightspot lists the content associated with that term. In addition, you can include a spotlight—a promo to an item that you explicitly associate with the search term—in the search results.

Referring to the previous illustration, a publisher operates two sites: Inspire Fashion and Inspire Environment. Each site has an associated dictionary of spotlight terms.
- Inspire Fashion has a dictionary
Colors
containing colors. - Inspire Environment has a dictionary
Environment
containing related terms.
Each dictionary has the term green
. If a visitor searches for green
on Inspire Fashion, Brightspot includes in the search results a spotlight to the article “This Summer’s Accessories.” If a visitor searches for green
on Inspire Environment, Brightspot includes in the search results a spotlight to the article “Measuring Your Environmental Footprint.”
