Brightspot CMS User Guide

User login and logout

Users need a form to log in to your site. Following the procedure described in Creating a custom form, create a login form. The typical items in a login form include a username field, a password field, links to log in with an authentication provider, and a submit button.

After successfully logging in, the user proceeds to your site’s landing page; after an unsuccessful login attempt, the user is directed to an error page. For information about configuring the landing and error pages, see Configuring an authentication manager.
